There’s a stretch of Sawtelle Blvd (around where it intersects Olympic) that has a collection of Japanese stores and restaurants. There’s a Giant Robot store and gallery there too, as well as some kareoke places I might have to *ehem* …investigate at a later date. I feel compelled, though, to point out how psyched I am about finding this small Japanese grocery store earlier today, and basically putting the owners’ kids through college. I am officially in mochi heaven.

Oh and plus, there’s a bank there called “Tomato Bank.”
